Amy Jussel has worked in media her whole life, beginning in journalism at a local ABC news affiliate, extending to a wide array of roles writing, producing and creating media messages of all kinds, from print and broadcast to book anthologies, feature stories and editorial content.

Amy founded ShapingYouth.org as a media literacy and critical thinking resource over a decade ago, writing over 1000+ deeply researched articles, opinions, insights and practical hints on navigating media’s powerful influence with children. Digital Dogs is an extension of that passion, as is her love of dogs, which have been her guiding light from her earliest days, on all fours herself.
