Mike Schrettenbrunner

The “Pumpkin Head Tom and Mummy Mary” BOOk series is a hit with kids because it’s created by kids! Leni and Libby Schrettenbrunner, along with their dad Mike, started this adventure as a school project. Leni (9), Libby (6), and Mike (older and goofier) drew and colored the stories, with Libby being the boss. Their classmates loved the first part so much they wanted more!

Encouraged by this, they eventually approached publishers, and Fulton Books published their first book. They then founded Schrett House Media LLC to keep the magic going. Along with creating more books, they visit schools, and libraries to inspire kids to make their own stories.

The series follows Pumpkin Head Tom and Mummy Mary in Spooksville, filled with heart, humor, and spooky fun. The books feature vibrant illustrations by top-notch professional illustrators and positive messages, making them a joy for both kids and parents. Each book is a tribute to the original stories loved by students, thanks to two amazing teachers.
