Pardis Aliakbarkhani is an Iranian-Canadian writer and artist living in Toronto, Canada. She explores and celebrates her heritage in her writing with softness and humor. Her work aims to shine light on the magic of the mundane and the beauty of the human condition.
Her first published collection of poetry, A Drink of the Caspian (2017), focuses on identity and healing. Her second collection of poetry, The Siren (2018), is a collection of sapphic love poems. Her upcoming project is a collection of poetry titled For Pomegranates (2021) which focuses on the divine feminine and self-empowerment.
