Carrie Burrows

Carrie Burrows is a fifth generation born and raised Texan and loves researching family and Texas history. Her favorite time of year is spring when she gets to see all the bluebonnets and other wildflowers covering the fields.

When not writing, her favorite thing to do is to be with her family - her husband, Brandon, and two daughters. She loves going on road trips with them, playing sports, and trying out new recipes. When it is her turn to choose where to go or what to do on her birthday -- she almost always picks visiting a Texas museum, park, or historical site.
