Meg Murphy

Dr. Meg Murphy was inspired to write Daddy Bakes Bread after her husband started baking during the pandemic. Dr. Murphy has a two year-old daughter and she was interested in writing a book that would not only show the joy of baking, but also focus on the relationship between a father and his daughter. Dr. Murphy was an English teacher for 12 years in the public school system and obtained her Doctorate in Education from Johns Hopkins University. She hopes this book will inspire parents to start baking and include their children in the process!
