Tracey L Thacker

Tracey was born and raised on a farm just SE of a small town called Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada. Her family life growing up was very turbulent, with very little love. To cope with all the abuse, pain, and suffering, Tracey turned to drugs and alcohol at a very young age which always left her empty inside and suicidal at the age of 15. As a young girl, she would always tell her mom "I have a hole in my heart, something is missing." She searched to fill that hole, failing miserably to find love and joy. Alcohol and drugs never filled that emptiness she felt until she encountered Jesus Christ at the age of 29. Tracey is a faithful, spirit filled disciple of Jesus Christ and has been on fire for Him every since. Jesus filled that hole in her heart when she became born again, she says "I physically felt the hole disappear when Jesus took up residency in my spirit."

In her study of the Word of God, she discovered how Christ exercised His authority over sickness, disease and evil spirits. Following His pattern, Tracey decided to use Christ's authority living in her to deal with her own life challenges. By using the name of Jesus, she commanded Crohn's disease, pain and all addictions to leave her body. She took those filthy cigarettes and alcohol and spoke to them, "In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you spirit of addiction leave me now, I cast you out, and don't come back!" Jesus healed her of Crohn's disease, and set her free of all abuse and addictions. Over the years, Tracey has preached at various churches and served on many ministry teams including the healing rooms. Her desire is to awaken the body of Christ to stop asking God to heal the sick and cast out demons, she says "Healing the sick and casting out demons is not God's job, it's the believer's job!" Tracey would like to encourage believers all around the world to use her new book to equip themselves to go back to the bible and follow the pattern of Christ. After all... "Jesus Told You To Do It!"
