Jamie Murray

Jamie Murray is an international best-selling author, and CFO at the commercial construction company she owns and operates with her husband in San Antonio, Texas. In her debut book, How Many Kids Do You Have?, Jamie explores the hardships faced while bonding a blended family. Her candid and raw takes on the modern family, both inspires and motivates, reminding us just how important blended families are to the contemporary familial structure.

Her follow up book, It's Not About Love (at least not the way you think), explores how we maneuver through trauma and betrayal, while becoming the person we want to be. With snarky wit and candid confessions, Murray approaches betrayal as just another human experience, one that can be depersonalized so that we can better take care of ourselves and our families.

Jamie became a mother at seventeen years old and went on to graduate from Texas Woman’s University in North Texas with a Master of Art in Women's Studies. Before becoming an entrepreneur and author, Jamie was a high school English teacher. Jamie Murray is on a life mission to say out loud what humans all over the world are managing in silence, teaching us how to live broke open.
