K.O. Samuels is an author whose career emerged on the pinning of an intuitive lead. The catalyst for her books, Onslaught, Unveiled Emotions (Publish America, 2005), The Easy Way to Feng Shui and thousands of articles on a range of subjects is that inner guidance. For her, divine intervention is not random but the compass that instructs her writing. K.O. Samuels has brought the same spirit to her work as a staff writer for the Marco Island Eagle, as a contributor to Gulf Shore Life Magazine, the Florida Today and Florida Institute of Technology Newspapers. Even in writing minutes for the City of Naples or marketing content on a range of subjects such as the medical and non-medical use of drugs, food, travel, finance, health or intuition, K.O. Samuels looks for the story within the seed of the generic.
K.O. Samuels' first book on Feng Shui (as Karline McIntosh, Publish America, 2011) ignited a strong interest in energy, synchronicity, and intuition. Her favorite quote is “Never ignore a hunch” by Florence Scovel Shinn. Her second book Unveiled Emotions brought it full circle, revealing the experiences she has had with synchronicity and highlighting wisdom of paying attention to our hunches. The reader is taken down some new, sometimes funny, and interesting intuitive paths. Onslaught is her debut crime fiction novel in which she skillfully weaved the message of trusting our instincts. Onslaught is intended to be the first in the Sam Whayler trilogy.
K.O. Samuels, according to her readers, has an innate talent for utilizing the power of the inner voice to weave storytelling and important life lessons in a way that not only informs but also entertains. She really loves hats, meditating and fishing on the beach especially in Jamaica where she was born. Although she enjoys various movie genres, the Lord of the Rings is her absolute favorite. She lives with her husband in Melbourne, Florida.
