Ciara Hughes

An Irish children book author and illustrator. From Dublin, Ireland. It's important to me that I enjoy reading and writing the adventures of my dog Teddy. My dog is my inspiration. He is a rescue dog that has a playful and loyal personality. In each book there will be a motivational and educational message for children. This helps children learn by example. Such as sharing, being brave, excepting others and trying new foods. I set my stories around my local areas, so if you live or have visited Dublin you may recognise some places.

I am continuously expanding my collection of the 'Teddy the Dog' series but you will also find children activity books published. These were a Covid lockdown project that I envisioned helping parents with homeschooling.
