Janice Jones

Janice Jones is a middle school math and science teacher in New York, New York, but her teaching career began in Trinidad and Tobago, twin islands in the Caribbean and the Mecca of the steelpan, limbo, calypso, and carnival. Janice grew up in Indian Walk, Moruga Road, south of the island, and later moved to Paramin in the north. She is the mother of three young adults, and she loves to cook, sing, read books, and travel.

She holds a Master’s in Education with a focus on Globalization and Inclusion from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. Janice wrote this book to equip the reader with social-emotional skills, which are essential to our daily lives as we communicate with family, school, and community.
