Mary Bachran

Mary Bachran was born and raised on a small family farm in western Colorado. After bouncing around the United States for twenty years, getting married and having three kids, she went back to school and earned a doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis on the psychology of indigenous and minority populations. She and her late husband finally settled in Paonia, CO, a little mountain town, where they lived off the grid for five years. She has traveled to Australia and India and currently occupies her time hiking with her dog, Shanti, writing novels and short stories, and serving as the town’s mayor.
