Ella Gupta is the founder of the Initiative for Financial Literacy Exploration (iFLEX). She has written for Yahoo Finance and Barron's. She has also been featured in CNBC and Real Simple. Gupta was a 2020 finalist and Power Pitch Winner in the International Conrad Challenge. Her interest in personal finance and investing was sparked at the tender age of ten when she started a business selling Rainbow Loom bracelets. She invested half her profits in the stock market and donated the other half to a pet charity close to her heart. Her book, Gen Z Money $ense, received first place in two categories at the Royal Dragonfly Book Awards. She was also one of 25 students nationally honored as a Prudential Emerging Visionary. Her goal is to democratize financial education so that everyone is empowered to take charge of their financial futures and live out their dreams. She is an incoming student at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
