Hola! I am the Lettering artist behind HowJoyful.com where I share all my tips, tricks to learn and improve your Lettering and Calligraphy endeavors. Tips to start drawing and let your creativity blossom. I have been working as a full-time lettering artist since 2013, working and as a freelancer with small and big clients doing branding, editorial, and licensing projects. While also developing lines of products in my Design Studio.

I’ve been teaching lettering, calligraphy, and DIY projects via in-person workshops and also online for a very long time, so I figured it was time to turn some of those teachings and creative endeavors into books =]

I was born in Chile, but I currently reside in the Mountains of Southern California with my Firefighter husband, 3 little boys and 2 fur-babies.

My three boys were the inspiration for all my children's books, and I drew with them most of the coloring pages, we loved making them as a family activity, so I'm excited to being able to share them with you now =]
