Ivan Brown

Ivan Brown was born and went to school in South Africa.

After graduating with chemistry degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand, Rhodes University and the University of Bristol, he worked in the chemical industry in South Africa. He then moved with his family to live permanently in Bristol, England.

He worked in the nuclear power industry and in a research institution at the University of Bristol before starting his own company. He has been running this for twenty years.

Although he has written hundreds of technical reports and many academic papers, "Night will pass........The sun will rise" is his first partly fictional novel, in an accurate historical setting.
