Hiking trips into mountain wilderness in Canada, in the Mt. Baker region of Washington, as well as elsewhere in the world, have been great sources of inspiration. Wild lands feature strongly in my novels, as does adventure. At the core of each novel is a love story, won under extraordinary or seemingly impossible circumstances.

Travel, too, has been inspiring. An appreciation for different cultures, customs and music have helped give life to my novels, particularly in the Black Wolves series which takes place in a different world.

The Blessing of the Black Wolves is the first in the Black Wolves series. Raven Seeker, the 2nd in the series, is now available. Three other novels make up the Nightfall Mountain series, which is set in 1870’s Montana - soon to be published.
