John S Kennedy

While John Shane Kennedy may very well come roaring out of virtual obscurity, he’s no stranger to the Lord Jesus Christ. He was born and raised in the Southern Baptist tradition, and raised on the teachings of several giants of the Christian faith (such as Oral Roberts, Kenneth E. Hagen, Kenneth Copeland, T.L. Osborn, Lester Sumrall), his mother also becoming an ordained minister. “Shane” has a business degree from Texas A&M University, but he was most affected by his time at Oral Roberts University (1983-85).

He received his ministerial license with World Ministry Fellowship (1989) and ordination with Faith Christian Fellowship International (1993). He served as a ministerial staff member for seven years. While Shane has remained on ministerial hiatus since that time, his personal passion for pursuing the Lord has never waned. Coup de Grace is the culmination of a twelve-year pursuit.

Shane lives in Texarkana, Texas with his wife, Robyn and youngest daughter, Ivy. He has the privilege of working with his son Joseph in the restaurant business, and his oldest daughter, Jordan during the editorial processing of "Coup de Grace." His favorite food is a straight up cheeseburger, he enjoys performance boats, street rods, football, Indy Car racing…he loves the America of the pilgrim founding and earnestly prays for her renewed recognition of and respect for God. He loves people and he wants for them to possess a victorious life. A truly blessed man. A man driven to share with you the most incredible insights, the unobscured doctrine of Christ.
