M.A. Quigley

Melisa Quigley completed an Associate Degree in Professional Writing and Editing at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia in 2015. Her flash fiction, poetry, and short stories have been published in over thirty anthologies worldwide. Her debut novel, “The Complexities of Love” won The New York City Big Book Award for LGBT. She writes poetry and her poetry novel, “Bereft”, won a Pen and Ink Horizons Award. Among her other genres, a short story, “Wool”, was featured in Monash University’s Literary Magazine with the theme Defiant. Melisa lives in Melbourne, Australia. When she’s not writing, she likes doing yoga and spending time with her husband, Ben, and their two dogs going for long walks. Her picture book, Cat Court, has won the Book Excellence Award, the Wordscape Wonders Award, and the Ink and Horizons Book Award.
