Ember Russell

Ember Russell grew up in rural Ontario, on the shore of Lake Huron, where she spent most of her youth making a concentrated effort to become a pirate. When that fell through, she joined the circus, travelled the world, failed at several careers before settling in Toronto to work as a Person Friday, a title she still doesn’t quite understand. She took up writing when she discovered that she had finally reached the bottom of her book pile, figuring writing was just reading in reverse.
