My love of all things vintage began in my late teen years when I had a boyfriend who owned a beautiful vintage Triumph car, (granted as he was also only 19 years old, it was the only car that he could afford), and just like that the smouldering embers that would ignite my vintage passion was lit!

Now that brings me to the present day. I wear beautiful vintage clothes, I live in a beautiful vintage designed home, I run a vintage inspired business and yes, I even drive a gorgeous vintage car.

I became an Interior Designer and then later an Architectural Interior Designer, but my love affair with interior design began many years before that. Through the decade’s interior design has given me the privilege of being part of one of the noblest professions that the world has now come to appreciate and embrace.

Interior design has the ability to positively touch and improve the lives of every man, woman and child on this planet, and in some cases the lives of the animals with whom we also share our lives. This is one of the few professions on earth that has the amazing capacity to, not only embody, redirect, improve our mental and physical wellbeing but also to transform our everyday standard of living for the better. I believe that a well-designed interior can potentially save our lives by providing shelter, a place of safety, security, sanctuary and even give us hope for the future.

Yes, I truly am passionate about the creation of amazing interior spaces. The years have taught me the true value of the expression of such a wonderful gift. So, I chose to write this series of books to share my passion with you also, and hopefully enlighten you to unlock your hidden potential, as I guide you through this design creation process.
