Kinney Lee Fields

As a former Eagle Scout and United States army national guard soldier, Kinney has dedicated much of his time and effort to teaching young men to keep their pants belted properly. His research and work with at risk youth in particularly African-American teens revealed a particular insight in correlation with imagery, money and success. Aside from working with young black elementary and teenage males, Kinney was also a 2016 Republican Primary Candidate for Dallas County Commissioner District 3.

His father Clay Smothers, was a Black conservative and former Texas State Representative serving from 1977-1980. Kinney worked as Automated Logistics Specialist in the National Guard(mos 92A), and credits the training he received in military as very vital to the success he has had being able to mobilize his ideals across inner cities across the country. Kinney currently resides in Dallas Texas, and spends most of his time speaking to and working with youth organizations, traveling and promoting his book.
