Kim Stafford

Kim Stafford is the author of the new foster care children's book, “When Will I See My Family?” Her family was an active foster family for four years and welcomed nine foster children into their home. Kim also taught in a public school for ten years and is now an entrepreneur and active community member. She stays busy as the wife of a blueberry farmer and mother to four biological children.

In the four years, each foster experience was very eye opening and unique. Most individuals have limited knowledge of what foster children go through emotionally, physically, and mentally. It is Kim’s passion to increase awareness about the experiences of children in foster care and provide comfort to those entering care as well as to the families taking on placements.
