William Moore

I was born and raised in NW Indiana which is 35 miles south of Chicago, Illinois. I lived in NW Indiana the first 35 years of my life. When I was a kid, I did enjoy writing but didn't take it too seriously until I got into high school. Just for fun, I wrote a short soap opera type story revolving around some of my classmates and started writing poetry. By the time I turned 35, I moved to Alabama, remarried and became a father. With the help of technology and KDP Publishing, I have been able to publish my written works easily and this brings me great joy. In the late summer of 2018, my wife passed away after a 4 year battle with cancer. Before she passed, she wrote a children's book manuscript, The Left Foot Sock Monster, dedicated to our son. Recently, I had the pleasure of seeing this work published and that makes me very happy. In 2020, I remarried and gained a larger family. While time keeps marching on, I can look back AND forward, and am grateful for everything in my life.
