Grace Budrys

Grace Budrys' latest book, Collapse of Society According to Dick and Jane, is a pandemic-induced product. It describes the dystopian realism which envelops us in the year 2031. Prior to this time she devoted her efforts to traditional academic pursuits, namely teaching and research. Before she succumbed to pandemic-induced imagery, her publications focused on analysis of health care arrangements and health policy issues. Budrys is Professor Emerita, DePaul University, Chicago. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Chicago.
