Susan Blumenthal

Still waiting to be critically acclaimed author and overnight sensation after decades of writing, Susan Blumenthal is a storyteller of topics as diverse as nuclear physics, nanotechnology, molecular biology, ghosts, and psychedelics. She is the author of Santa Fe Ghosts, two young adult novels, two mainstream novels, a book of essays about her strange encounters with animals including a teleporting snake, and a memoir of being psychedelic drug research volunteer and drinking ayahuasca in the Amazon with a dodgy shaman.

She lives in the high desert mountains of her native New Mexico, is a lover of ravens, enjoys photography and collects weird sticks and rocks. She’s a part-time nomad, a traveler of the Blue Highways and dirt roads in her vintage camper with her dog and cat, and finds inspiration wandering in the desert and mountains of the Southwest.
