Anandi Sano

Anandi Sano is a USA Today and international bestselling author, Australian spiritual teacher and founder of peiecŪ, an original discipline of self-cultivation concerned with stillness, presence, consciousness and the refinement of the human system.

Her life has moved through very different worlds - design, paramedicine, corporate leadership, healing work and a rich spiritual life spanning decades. Through a series of profound experiences and an unfolding that continued across many years, the structures through which she had understood herself and the nature of existence gradually fell away.

From this came both Anandi's writings and an extensive body of practical work. The practices within peiecŪ were progressively shown to her over many years and have since been explored, demonstrated, and refined through direct teaching with students. The work includes the physical, emotional, energetic and spatial dimensions of human experience, and the increasing capacity of the whole system to live from stillness and presence.

Anandi's books approach spiritual life in the same way she teaches: directly, quietly and without asking the reader to adopt a belief or philosophical position. They explore what remains when accumulated identity, understanding and seeking begin to loosen - and what becomes possible when stillness is no longer simply something we experience, but something we become capable of living.

Anandi lives and teaches from the hills of Perth, Western Australia.
