I grew up in Seatoun, Wellington, New Zealand. It is a small, beautiful seaside suburb. I come from a large family, and spent my childhood swimming, riding horses and playing on Wellington's wild hills. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Masters in Creative Writing, have had short stories and poems in literary magazines, and published my fist novel, 'Wahine,' in 2011. I am married, with 3 children and work as a Secondary School teacher in Auckland, NZ. My novel, 'Hold the Line,' was published in May, 2021. I continue to love swimming. I walk a lot and garden at Orere Point, NZ, another stunning seaside town.
