Mark W Robinson

Mark W. Robinson currently lives in Los Angeles California with his wife Karen of 18 years, and their dog Baker. Mark is currently semi retired from the youth and family services field. He is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. Karen and Mark have 5 children and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys golf, walking, pilates, reading, watching sports, listening to all types of music, enjoying friends and family on his deck in front of his grill, and of course, writing. Mark graduated from Alabama A&M University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and has a Master's Degree in Counseling from Bowling Green State University. Currently when he is not writing or doing one of the many things listed above he also works part time as a background actor in Los Angeles. He has had background roles on "This is Us", "For the People", "Good Girls" "The Goldberg's" and other shows and movies. His passion for writing comes from a lifelong love of reading and credits his mother for teaching him to read before he entered school. Growing up he would read anything and everything, loved to spend hours in the local library and would borrow as many books at a time that was allowed and read them all within the two weeks before he would have to return them, then do it all over again. Mark was an accomplished ex-athlete, who played every sport he could growing up until he settled in to playing basketball and receiving a scholarship to play in undergrad. When he quit playing in his early forties he took up golf and is an avid golfer to this day. Mark believes that everything happens for a reason and lives life trying to stay spiritually connected to the world around him. His main motto in life comes form his Father who always said "Tough Times Don't Last, Tough People Do"
