Lee Schofield

Lee Schofield is an ecologist and author based in the Lake District National Park. His first book, Wild Fell: Fighting for Nature on a Lake District Hill Farm (2022), documented the decade he spent as RSPB Site Manager at Haweswater. His second book, Refuge: Putting Nature at the Heart of Britain’s National Parks (2027), seeks to raise awareness of the need to reform national parks in the UK so that they give better protection to wildlfe.
