Arthur Enns

Although writing has been a long-term goal, Arthur Enns spent the first few decades in other careers: radio—including CHQM and QM-FM in Vancouver, where he hosted the all-night jazz show before assuming the role of Music Director; pastor of Vernon Christian Fellowship, a twelve-year period that included hosting a weekly TV show on behalf of the Vernon Ministerial Association and being elected as a Trustee and Board Chair of Vernon Jubilee Hospital; and healthcare administration, serving as CEO of Menno Place in Abbotsford and Board Chair of the Denominational Healthcare Association of British Columbia.

Arthur considers marriage, family, and church relationships to be an unparalleled blessing in his life, and has dedicated this book to the memory of his late wife Margarete, whose faith and encouragement provided a strong impetus to his writing career.

These days, time away from the computer (and an office crammed with books, papers, sticky notes, and jazz CDs) is spent visiting children and grandchildren, traveling with his wife Dianne, and hiking the trails overlooking the lakes of British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley.
