Cheryl Marceau

Cheryl Marceau spent her childhood moving across the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and the Marshall Islands, finally settling in the Boston area as an adult. She held senior leadership roles in the corporate world but always had a passion for writing and for crime fiction. She published her first short story in 2010 and has since had stories selected for a number of anthologies by Level Best Publishing, Malice Domestic, and others. Her most recent story, “Stress Kills,” appears in The Fish That Got Away: The 2021 Sisters in Crime Guppy Anthology.

New England's geography, history, and culture provide the source of much of her writing, although her stories take place in a wide variety of settings, including Taos, New Mexico.

Cheryl is a member of Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime, where she serves on the Board of the New England chapter. She is also a member of the Historical Novel Society and Historic New England.
