Takunda Shava

I was born in 1967 in Zimbabwe, and got converted to Jesus in 1985. From then on I felt a powerful call of God upon me to go into ministry. I then joined ministry in 1990, after my undergraduate studies, and then became mainly involved in church planting, pastoring, and leadership training and development. As a trained farmer, I have worked in the corporate farming world as an Agricultural Consultant, and Business Manager. The work of ministry and my employment in the agricultural industry run conjointly and concurrently, and as such, I can be considered to be a Pastor in the Market Place. I am a trained pastor and leader, and besides these, I have a BSc Agricultural Honours Degree, a Master in Business Administration Degree, and am an NLP Practitioner. My major genres are personal motivation and development, leadership, and Christian doctrine. My writing career took-off in 2012, with my first title, The Gospel To My Wife. I was inspired to write by my church leader (who himself is an author), and much of the encouragement to produce and finish the book, came from my wife. The story about how it all came about is contained in the About This Book section of the book: “The Gospel To My Wife”. I write mainly under inspiration, where I get a concept of something to write about. Under this inspiration the ideas seem to come easy and fall in place, and the topics for my titles, seem to take little effort to put in place. My books are mainly spiritual, based on self-development, purpose and destiny, doctrine and leadership (including self leadership and motivation). I hope as one reads these writings, they will get new meaning to life, and be I inspired to move to a better position.
