Paul Gorlach is an illustrator and aspiring writer of children's books and stories, a subject that is natural to him growing up in a creative and artistic environment. Soon after coming to NYC he won the Peace poster competition in all of Queens for an illustration depicting children of different nationalities holding hands, and a dove with a olive branch fluttering above. He has translated his talents into different areas of design, but always has maintained the child like quality that is so important today. Discovering his writing creativity early, and how it is possible to stimulate visual story telling through illustration in a symbiotic way, Paul has been perfecting his craft ever since. After going to public school in Queens NY, and then attending Eaglebrook School in Deerfield MA, he received a BA in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. A whimsical children’s story with colorful illustrations, Paul creates a exciting world for kids and adults to explore.
