Ron Blumenfeld

I'm a retired pediatrician in his next life as a writer. My debut novel is based on the life of Andreas Vesalius, the great 16th-century anatomist. I'm a native of the Bronx, New York, long settled in Connecticut by way of Tucson, Arizona where a big piece of my family's heart remains. My ballplaying days are over, but I do enjoy a variety of outdoor sports. I'm an eclectic fiction and nonfiction reader, and can't kick a lifelong addiction to NY Times crosswords.
