Steve Brown

Steve Brown is an Illustrator from Kent in the UK.

He has Illustrated books in the UK and USA with publishers such as Scholastic, Oxford University Press, Harper Collins and many more.

One of his books “The Wondrous Dinosaurium” was shortlisted for

The Children’s Book Award 2019 and has been nominated for The Fantastic Book Award 2020 for “My Family And Other Ghosts”

He grew up with the best cartoons of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s which has clearly influenced the animated style of his illustrations.

He has a passion for character design and likes to tell stories through his illustrations and make it fun for child and adult alike.

Working from a studio at the bottom of his garden with the company of his dog, Steve works digitally in Photoshop on his Wacom Cintiq and Procreate on his IPad Pro.
