J.R. Cason has always held a fascination with myths and legends since he was a child. Growing up in the American South he never forgot the folktales and stories told by those who'd long since passed; yet whose words still ring true. This distinct combination has created its own unique impact on his writing and ideas. It began with writing pulp fiction short stories and ideas for creating a world from his imagination that felt somewhat like the stories he grew up with.

As an avid reader of historical fiction, mythology, fantasy, and Sword & Sorcery novels, J.R. Cason wished to incorporate similar elements into his own writing while creating something new and exciting in itself. In 2020 he decided to combine years of ideas into building a fantasy world full of epic tales and daring heroes. He looks forward to sharing this world with his readers and welcomes your thoughts and reviews. Despite his busy life outside of writing, his mind is a never-ending hamster wheel, and he's always looking for ways to expand upon the stories and characters that live within.

His passions outside of writing include, hiking, fishing, and exploring all that nature has to offer.
