Roberta Wagner

Roberta Wagner has been a practicing artist for almost four decades and has worked in various mediums including clay, paint, textiles and mixed media. She has shown artwork in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Washington state galleries and completed an eight-foot diameter commissioned fountain for the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond, Virginia.

She wrote articles for Clay Times, a national ceramics magazine and studied with master potter, Vally Possony. She also studied with many other artists including Nancy Hillis, Gail Harker, India Flint, Lorna Crane, and Mark Eanes.

She has a bachelor’s degree in International Economics, a master’s degree from The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, and completed the two-year art education program at The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She has also worked as a senior bank regulator and as a consultant to banks and boards of directors.
