L.L. Brown

Lorretta Brown, also known as Meelo, a name given to her by her grandkids, is a force to be reckoned with. At 62, she is starting an exciting chapter in her life, accomplishing two of her life-long goals of being a Master Chef and published author. She and her husband of over 40 years reside in Northeast Texas. She is a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loves her family and enjoys spending time with them. She holds a Bachelor's degree from LeTourneau University in Business Management. She has worked in state government for over 37 years and recently retired to enjoy life and to pursue personal goals that she's put on the back burner for years. Among her many hats, including self-taught chef, caterer, event planning, and trainer, Meelo has a love for storytelling, which led her to writing. She has written several self help articles that were published in a newsletter associated with her past employer. She has also contributed articles to an online magazine.
