Tom Dymond

Tom Dymond is a memoirist, adventurer, sailor and world-class procrastinator who has somehow managed to write books anyway. Raised in the southwest of England, he’s sailed some 40,000 miles, delivered mail through a pandemic, and discovered that life’s biggest revelations often arise when you’re lost, late, or slightly damp.

His series Sailing Blue Eye Around the World follows the circumnavigation he undertook in his 20s with more enthusiasm than nautical expertise. His latest book, Letters from a Postman, finds the adventure in everyday chaos... apparently even a postal round can turn existential.

Most recently, Tom kayaked 4,000 kilometres from Bristol to the Black Sea, mainly to avoid answering emails. He writes to make readers laugh, think, and occasionally wonder how he’s still alive.
