Michael Carl

Michael Carl is a futurologist, podcaster, keynoter, journalist, author and theologian.

He is driven by the future of mankind - in business and work, in society and personal life, or more precisely: our images of our future and how we begin to create and form it.

After studying Protestant theology and completing his education in journalism, he initially worked as a journalist for various ARD radio programs before turning his attention to the field of development and transformation. He set up a strategy office for an ARD station - a first in public broadcasting. He works with companies and organizations, helping them strengthen their future readiness. After helping to develop an institute into Europe's largest independent futurology institute as its managing director, he founded the carl institute for human future. Here, a space is growing to bring the future into the conversation, with dialogue and exchange, with research and inspiration, with networking and momentum.

Michael Carl has three children and, a born northerner, now lives in Leipzig.
