Author Mel Stein is a sports lawyer, footballer representative
and writer who lives in North London with his wife Marilyn.
As a lawyer he represented Paul Gascoigne, Chris Waddle,
Alan Shearer and Neil Lennon. Mel was one of the first English
solicitors to be regarded as a specialist sports lawyer
This is Mel’s twentieth book and his other titles include the
well-received “Rags to Riches,” "How to be a Sports Agent"
“The White Corridors,” and “The House with Too Many Rooms.
He is most infamously the author of “How to Complain.”

Mel is a regular broadcaster on radio and television on
sporting and consumer issues. His other passions include
Newcastle United Football Club, Barnet Football Club,
Yorkshire County Cricket Club which, apart from Soho House
(another passion) are the only clubs which would have him
as a member.
