María, was a quiet girl with a melancholic look, reserved, and communicated through her childish but profound writings.
Her fate led her to be the mother of four small children, when she was 22 years old.
Her desire to know, never left her.
She tells us that her greatest gift has been faith. Faith in what? The faith that we were created in love, and with a purpose full of mysteries, which one day will be fully revealed to us. The faith in an eternal life, and in a being incomprehensible to our understanding, but accessible in a wonderful way to each one of us, when we connect.
For her, the solution to the world's problems is love. The only one capable of extinguishing hate, jealousy, rivalry, greed, vanity, and so on.
In her country, Mexico, and in the capital, where she lived for many years, she was vice president of AMJE (Association of Women Heads of Business), and she got an award from the AMPI Mexico City (Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals).
In her hometown, Tuxpan, in the state of Veracruz, she was president of the city's fire department. She is a founding member of Art and Culture, AC. She was a counselor of API-Sistema Portuario Veracruzano, and 30 years ago she founded the company CANAAN, Bienes Raíces, which remains active. She was president of AMPI Zona Norte of the state of Veracruz.
Currently, she is retired, and lives in the city of Cancun, enjoying her daughters and grandchildren, and prevailing in her desire to know. She’s now studying a new degree in theology, she is writing and publishing what was locked away and should come to light. Among her writings there are anthologies of poems, and the recently published short novel: Journey Into Inner Space.
She is also starting a new project, which she tells us fills her with joy: “Ho Amikko Ob,” five friends, in Mayan language, a summer camp for children, which includes children with physical or intellectual disabilities.
She is 71 years old, and she tells us, she lives surrounded by love.
