TERESA AVERTA teacher, poet, writer, blogger and podcaster has composed: poems, short stories, articles, aphorisms, literature in the vernacular, Italian fiction, essays with an ethical, religious and social background, educational guides and literature for children.

He has published some works with a PEDAGOGICAL - DIDACTIC background such as "A BOOK TO DREAM" and "TOGETHER AND BEYOND" guides aimed at the training of primary school children, "IN WALK WITH THE HEART" a precious poetic collection, "A SPECIAL TRIP" ( a special adventure): a captivating bilingual fairy tale for kindergarten, "STUPENDELLA" an educational fairy tale for children, THE LIZARD AND THE GOOD GIANT a fairy tale for the little ones, "GOCCE DI LUCE" a series of short stories and pearls for the youngest, "SIMPLY EMOTIONS" a poetic anthology, which contains the most important and exciting compositions, which have marked the literary path of the author.

Awards and acknowledgments

In 2016 she is one of the winners of the international poetry prize "TROPEA ONDE MEDITERRANEE", winning the 1st prize with the lyric "UN RAGGIO DI SOLE" for unpublished poetry.

She is present as a competition winner, for unpublished adult poetry, in the Anthology "Tropea:" Mediterranean Waves 2016 and 2017 "-Meligrana Editore- with her collection of poems in Italian and English.

Again in 2016, she is a finalist in the non-profit “FESTIVAL DELLE LETTERE” in Milan, with her letter “CARA VITA”.

You participate in the poetic review of the 2016 FEDERICIAN COMPETITION in Rocca Imperiale, the "Country of Poetry", obtaining the title of "FEDERICIAN POET".

You participate in the "HABERE ARTEM" COMPETITION, with Aletti Editore, with the poem "LET ME FLY", which receives the mention of merit and is included in the "Habere Artem" anthology, published and distributed in the Orizzonti series, by Aletti Editori 2016.

Also in 2016 she is among the finalists, with the poem "NON CHIESI NULLA" of the 7th Literary Prize "EMOZIONI IN BIANCO E NERO".

In May 2017, she was awarded the 3rd Prize of the IX edition of the INTERNATIONAL NAVARRO COMPETITION IN SICILY, with the collection "TERRA MIA"

In June, one of his most beautiful poems: "I LOVE YOU ANCORA MY LAND, receives a plaque of recognition, as FINALIST at the XV 2017 edition of the NATIONAL POETRY AWARD" PADRE GAETANO ERRICO, organized by the Associazione Padre Gaetano Errico ONLUS and the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in Secondigliano (Naples).

In October 2017, one of his most beautiful poems, entitled "IL VENTO DELLA SPERANZA" gets the first prize for the Poetry section at the National Competition "CUORE SPEZZATO" of MONTEGRAPPA EDIZIONI, dedicated to the populations of Monterotondo (Rome), affected by the earthquake of 2016.

In December 2017, she was the absolute winner with the first prize, for the narrative section - theme "PERVERSO LOVE" - dedicated to violence against women, in the literary competition organized by the literary agency "SCRITTURA E DINTORNI".

In 2018 she received the 1st Prize, again for fiction, from the Latin American Association "ASOLAPO ITALIA" for the story - with a social background - "LAND OF NO ONE".

In 2018, in July, she wins a PLAQUE OF MERIT with CERTIFICATE AND CRITICAL MOTIVATION with her lyric NUDO DI DONNA for the "ALDA MERINI" AWARD. She is included in the anthology VERSI PER ALDA for merit at the Academy of the Bronzes of Catanzaro.

You write and publish again in 2018, a short fictionalized story entitled: THE GARDEN OF PASQUALINO and a theological-poetic essay entitled: "THEO-POIETICS: THE TEMPORARY ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE ETERNAL IN CONTEMPORARY ART"

Writes and publishes in 2019 JORNA DI PASCA a collection in the Calabrian vernacular and IL POEMETTO DELL’ENEIDE, a poetic essay that contains a personal Virgilian reworking of the Aeneid.

You collaborate with "THE STEAM BOAT" for children's literature projects.

You collaborate with Mondadori's “CONFIDENZE” MAGAZINE for articles and stories.

You collaborate with Espresso, "MY BOOK" publishing house.

She collaborates with the THEATER FOR ALL and I am registered in the theater group UN MONOLOGO A MONOLOGO

You are part of the ITALIAN NETWORK OF POPULAR CULTURE association -FONDO TULLIO DE MAURO- and participated in "DONA LA VOCE", which was a participatory and shared project born from the desire to enhance the heritage of the TULLIO DE MAURO FUND through the involvement of all.

She is a finalist with mention of merit at the NATIONAL LITERARY, ART AND CULTURE AWARD “GIUSEPPE GIOACHINO BELLI” XXX.

She wins the selection for the ESSENCE Review in 2019. PAINTED POEMS, relating to the event of POETRY & PAINTING in the city of Cremona at the "Sale di Palazzo Duemiglia" with the poem entitled "MORNING LIGHT".

She is the winner again in 2019 for the narrative with the social story "TERRA DI NESSUNO" at the first edition of the "CALABRO-LUCAN STORIES" COMPETITION organized by the publishing house Historica-edizioni in collaboration with the Cultora site.

Teresa Averta, in addition to writing poetry, educational articles, reflections of a theological and social nature that she makes available on her website "TERESAAVERTASCRITTRICE", also manages an educational blog for children: "LE FAVOLE DI TERESA" and specifically maintains a Facebook page always dedicated to children's literature "A FAIRY TALE FOR YOU" where she publishes her fables and her numerous short stories, the literary productions of little writers, which she discovers at school where she works, or around the world .. .as they say: it goes “on the hunt for talents”.

Finally, she cultivates passions which are: singing, dramatization, beautiful music and the sea, and she is a good lover of Indian philosophy and oriental culture.
