About Jase P Johnson

13 year old Jase P Johnson is the author of the "Jase asks," series of children's books for beginning readers. He is also working on several short stories that feature the adventures of exotic animals. Jase was very sick as a little child, he was diagnosed with Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura, a blood disorder that affects the platelets. His disease has since resolved and he no longer suffers with it. However, while he was ill, he spent many months in and out of the hospital. During these hospital visits his mom bought a lot of children's books and they helped him learn to read and to love reading. Because of this, Jase is on a mission to help young ones learn to read and to love books and reading.

When he isn't writing or sharing his books, he is very active in his Christian ministry.

He is homeschooled, and very advanced in his education and grade level. He loves History, Science and Reading. He is not crazy about Math, but he is getting better with it.

He enjoys listening to instrumental music and beats. He likes to play non violent video games. He loves all animals, but has a special affinity for exotic and rare ones. He has shared exotic and rare animals on social media for over three years, and a lot of people have expressed their appreciation for learning so much about these beautiful creations.

He lives in Louisiana, USA.
