Steven C Smith

Steven Smith is an Author, Storyteller, Parent and subsequent coffee drinker. He grew up on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia - where he began his career as a performer and also studied speech pathology and linguistics. After working for several years with Warner Bros at their Australian film and television studios and theme parks, he travelled overseas and joined the Walt Disney Company. Since then, Disney has provided him opportunities to live and work around the globe - but he has settled (for now) in Orlando, with his Husband and their Son.

Steven believes that we have a responsibility to entertain and educate our children in ways that expose them to the diverse world around us - that we each have to include and embrace differences such as race, religion, ability, gender, sexual orientation, culture, and geographical location in the stories we tell and the businesses we create.
