Ira Bernard Teich

Ira Bernard Teich has spent more than five decades as a global advisor on transformational growth strategy, working with businesses, governments, and organizations around the world. His career has included senior executive roles in multinational business, partnership in a respected strategy consultancy, and leadership of an internationally recognized consumer strategy firm.

Having worked in more than eighty countries, Teich brings to his writing a broad understanding of cultures, economies, institutions, and the powerful narratives that shape public opinion. Now semi-retired, he continues to advise governments, organizations, and business leaders on strategy, growth, and the human dimensions of decision-making.

Teich is the author of a business trilogy: The Business Mentor (2017), MSME Revolution (2021), and The Honesty Advantage (2025), exploring leadership, enterprise development, trust, transparency, and strategic growth. He is also the author of Beneath the Headlines: The Israel Story the Media Rarely Tells, a book examining Israel, media bias, and the deeper historical and moral context often missing from public debate.

His forthcoming book, Before Abraham: Creation, Civilization, and the Human Condition in Genesis, turns to the first eleven chapters of Genesis — the universal human story before the emergence of Abraham and the covenantal people of Israel. In this work, Teich explores creation, moral responsibility, exile, violence, family, language, civilization, and the enduring questions that Genesis continues to place before humanity.

Alongside his professional work, Teich has long been drawn to the history, philosophy, culture, and spiritual inheritance of Judaism and Israel. An artist and collector, his juried paintings and collection of ancient Judean coins reflect a lifelong fascination with memory, civilization, identity, and the enduring power of the past to illuminate the present.
