Leanne Borrelli

Leanne is a self-taught artist who always wanted to see the world and explore God’s creation. She was raised in church in New Castle, Pennsylvania with amazing parents who planted seeds of faith in her heart when she was young. She lost her way in college and beyond but God never let her go. After coming back to her faith roots, praying and seeking God first, God brought her on a life adventure incredibly tailored for her. Now Leanne is an American living in Italy, a wife of a world-traveling gelato expert and a mother of an amazing little boy named Luca. With a deep desire to teach Luca her most important life lessons in a simple book about Jesus, she wrote and illustrated “Once Upon a Time in a Universe.” It turned out so colorful and fun that she published it and thought families everywhere could use it to teach the beautiful story of Jesus to their children too.

Outside of thinking of ways to promote her books, Leanne teaches English at a local preschool in Italy. She enjoys organizing play dates for her son and his friends, gardening, painting, walking and biking in the foothills of the Italian Alps, appreciating the beauty of God’s creation and dreaming up new ideas and adventures to try. Her current motto is “Live Inspired.” Maybe God will inspire her to create another book soon too!
