Beth Hey

Author Beth Hey's writing credits include Focus on the Family’s Clubhouse magazine and Focus on Your Child-Tween ages. One of Beth's joy's for more than 20 years has been leading numerous Bible studies for women of all ages, including middle school girls, as well as leading Christ-centered, inner-healing ministries. She has a passion to help girls and women grown into their true identity in Christ and purse wholeness. Recently, she finished Renovaré Institute's two-year certificate program that focuses on spiritual renewal and transformation.

A love for learning and teaching (plus long walks and chocolate!) kept her focused during 16 rewarding, and challenging, years of homeschooling. While teaching the scriptures to her children, she saw the need for creative and interactive approaches, which led to the creation of God's Girl.

Beth and her husband live in Kansas City where she dabbles in art, both on canvas and in her garden. Their family includes three happily married children, two grandchildren, and rescue grand-dog, Rory. She is active in Heart of America Christian Writers Network and, as an award-winning travel journalist and member of Midwest Travel Journalists Association, she has written more than 500 magazine and online articles.
