Marshall V. King

MARSHALL V. KING is a writer and journalist based in Goshen, Indiana.

For more than twenty years he worked at the Elkhart Truth newspaper as a reporter and eventually managing editor. He has been a writer and journalist for nearly 30 years.

He has written for a number of other publications and has often focused on food, writing a popular Dining a la King column. He is an adjunct professor of communication at Goshen College and the head storyteller for the Community Foundation of Elkhart County.

Born in Arkansas, where his parents met because of Mennonite voluntary service, he grew up in the Conservative Mennonite Conference. He is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
