Clive Elwood

I work as an executive coach and consultant. I qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the University of Cambridge and developed my clinical career, specialising in small animal internal medicine, as well as gaining a PhD and Masters in Immunology from the Royal Veterinary College. Twenty years in a private referral practice culminated in the role of Managing Director, working with over 150 veterinary and non-veterinary professional colleagues. In 2019, my curiosity piqued by the challenges of leadership, I moved from that role to develop my practice as a leadership coach, completing a Masters in Executive Coaching in 2021. I am fascinated by people, their interactions and how they work together to achieve their goals. The complexities of healthcare and professional services environments, and how leadership, in these contexts and in all its manifestations, can improve lives and outcomes, has become a passionate interest.

Outside of work I enjoy connecting with nature, walking the dogs, cooking, photography and sharing time with friends and family.
