Jeff Jackson

I've been married for 44 years and have three grown and married children and seven grandchildren. I've served in the US Army, been a pastor and a missionary, and served refugees both overseas and here in America. Major health challenges have been part of my life's journey, along with many opportunities to try and bring comfort to others who also deal with physical health challenges.

Baseball is by far my favorite sport, and I'm a die-hard San Diego Padre fan. I love to travel internationally, eagerly seeking to understand and appreciate the amazing ethnic and cultural diversity that our Creator designed to reveal His glory. Some of my friends have called me a connoisseur of culture--and I wear that label proudly. I'm a voracious reader, primarily books on history, culture, biographies, and at least a few fictional books each year.
